Writing Tip #1: WRITE, WRITE, WRITE
Every book I have read about how to become a writer talks about writing all the time. It does not matter if you write 10 words a day or 10 sentences or 10 paragraphs, you need to write.
All the Writers group meetings I have attended mention the same thing. You need to write. You want to become a writer. You have to write something, everyday if possible.

Writing Tip #2: CHARACTER / STORY BIBLES
I found out about these at the Writing Group I go to. I feel that they are very important to keep things organized and accurate about your Characters and Story Line. Especially if you are planning to write several books about this character or in this world / setting that you are developing.
I have not found a single book that talks about these subjects but there are many items on the Internet that delve into these subjects. You can design a Bible that works for you and expand upon it if you see the need to do so.
Get used to writing in these bibles all the time and keeping track of things in them. I never delete anything out of them. I just red line thru the changes I make. I keep all my thoughts in them to read in case I change my mind later on about something.
Start to develop one today!!
